About Clint

Clint Collins, marked by passion and desire to see people set free and walking in their purpose, speaks with authority as a pastor, motivational speaker, and through his nationally published books and curriculum. Clint has authored “The Climb” a guide to overcoming life’s obstacles, as well as co-authored with his wife Kami, the curriculum and book “Walking in Freedom” on emotional healing and freedom. Clint is an ordained minister that received his bachelors degree in Psychology at Ohio State University in 1991. Prior to moving to Big Spring, TX Clint served as the pastor of inner-healing ministries at Heartland Church in Dallas, Texas with Pastor Dan Dean. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Life Church of Big Spring and is the founder and facilitator of Freedom Excursion Ministries. 

Clint enjoys living in West Texas with his wife Kami and his son Mcallister.

About Kami

Kami Collins', passionate, powerful, funny, and relatable is a few words that would describe her ministry as a pastor, worship leader, and speaker. Kami’s ministry began at a young age as a pastor's daughter in Big Spring, TX. She served as a staff member in three different churches before returning to Big Spring as Sr. Pastor along with her husband Clint. Kami's heart for missions and evangelism led her to Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. where she graduated in 2001 with an Associates Degree in Practical Theology and Music. Kami, also gifted in music and passionate about worship, has served as a worship leader for 20 years.

In her transparent style Kami shares God’s Word woven with personal experiences to empower people to walk in freedom and power in their lives. Along with pastoring, Kami travels out as a motivational conference speaker and has co-authored “Walking in Freedom” a curriculum and book on emotional healing and freedom. Kami also serves as the co-founder and Director of Freedom Excursion Ministries along with her husband Clint.

When she’s not out ministering Kami enjoys being at home with her one true love and husband Clint, and fulfills her greatest love as mother to her precious son McAllister.

Mission

Freedom Excursion Ministries, founded by Clint and Kami Collins, was inspired out of a desire to bring emotional, physical, and spiritual freedom to people. Pastor’s Clint and Kami Collins are passionate to bring wholeness and freedom to the local church, pastors, youth, and individuals that desire a greater level of freedom. Once freed, people are empowered to make an impact for the Kingdom of God in the way that God purposed for them to…. uninhibited. Their ministry extends beyond being senior pastors of Life Church of Big Spring. They have a mission to see freedom, equipping, and empowerment to churches locally and abroad.

History

Freedom Excursion Ministries was founded in 2002 by Clint and Kami Collins in Dallas, TX. In 2003, the ministry moved to Big Spring, TX when Clint and Kami accepted God’s call to pastor in the West Texas region. A main focus of their ministry is Freedom Excursion Weekends, which they host in Dallas, TX, Big Spring, TX, and many cities and churches abroad. Clint and Kami Collins, besides pastoring, enjoy traveling out to host FE weekend events, leadership trainings, worship seminars, and speaking engagements in order to equip God’s people and support the local church.
