Life Groups meet all across Big Spring & Howard County to help people live life together, grow together and serve God together. Whether you are looking for a place to meet new friends, connect to a mentor, grow spiritually, or serve your community there’s a Life Group for you!

How Do I become a Life Group Leader or Host Home?

This is the starting to becoming a leader of a Life Group. We want to make sure we equip you to be successful in your role as a leader. A Life Group leader/host is an active member of Life Church who wants to help people grow spiritually and develop meaningful relationships. To become a leader/host you must...

  1. Attend New Members Luncheon
  2. Attend Discovery I & II
  3. Submit a Life Groups Leadership Application.
  4. Attend a Leader/Host Orientation.
  5. Serve as a Life Group Apprentice

Leader/Host Orientation

Leadership Orientation is a required basic training for all new leaders and hosts. This orientation focuses on the main areas to prepare you for your new role in Life Groups.

Life Group Host

All you need is a home, TV & DVD player, and a heart of hospitality to serve people.

Life Group Leader in training -Apprentice

As an apprentice. You will be teamed with an experienced Life Group Leader who cares about you and the success of your group. As your primary point of contact, they are there to answer your questions, mentor you, support you, care for you, and cheer you on.

Life Group Training

Trainings concentrate on the most common skill sets leaders need in order to effectively lead people to connect, grow, and serve with God and others.
